Opis 70% Grenache, 30% Syrah Oceny i nagrody: srebrny medal magazynu Decanter 2010 Opis: Niezwykle aksamitny południowy rodańczyk o aromatach czarnych owoców i ziół prowensalskich. Mocno zbudowany, ciężki i lepiący się do języka. Długi owocowy finisz. Wino z potencjałem do leżakowania nawet do 5 lat.
Opis Dobry owoc, ładnie dopełniający dąb oraz intensywność tworzą to bardzo urokliwe wino. Spędziło sześć miesięcy w beczkach z francuskiego dębu i leżakowało cały następny rok zanim je wypuszczono do sprzedaży. Wcześniejszy rocznik zdobył złoty medal na Miedzynarodowych Targach “Mundus vini” w Niemczech, a Parker daje 2010 rocznikowi 92 punkty. ================= 2011 -

Fully-ripened syrah was combined with 4% viognier grapes, then destemmed and co-fermented. The resulting wine remained on skins for extended maceration before pressing. It was then run off to a mixture of new and seasoned French oak barrels for 12 months’ maturation, during which time it was regularly topped and racked. The wine received a traditional egg-white fining before being bottled in March 2011. Te Mata Estate Woodthorpe Syrah ‘10 has a bright crimson colour with aromas of red cherries, raspberries and the pepper and jasmine floral notes. The palate features the same red berry fruits completed by baking spice flavours and integrated soft tannins. This wine will continue to develop in bottle for 2-5 years from harvest. Te Mata Estate Woodthorpe Syrah ‘10 is a wonderful accompaniment to all red meats, savoury and lightly spiced dishes of Mediterranean cuisine, as well as soft ripened cheese. pH: 3.62 TA: 5.6g/l Residual Sugar: Dry

Opis TASTING NOTE Vibrant and deep plum. Warm, expansive and filled with the aromas of poached dark-fleshed plums, freshly baked blueberry muffins and sweet spices. The palate is bursting with the flavours of cinnamon and clove spiced fruit compote, chocolate fudge, cedar and vanilla. The open knit tannin structure plays a supportive and cradling role to such generously apportioned fruit. Slow roasted lamb, venison sausages or wash rind cheeses 8 years plus and best from 2010 to 2016.
Opis TASTING NOTE Vibrant and deep ruby red. Savoury aromas of cranberry and sour cherry are counterpoised by sweet and supple red berry fruits then seasoned with dusty fruit tannin and oak spice. The cherry and berry fruit leather texture and concentration on the front palate is focused by the defining, chewy grape tannins of Sangiovese. In time the wine will unfold as the tannins soften and the fruits blossom. Capretto, BBQ Lamb, Pizza or Parmigiano-Reggiano 8 years plus and best from 2010 to 2016.
