Fully-ripened syrah was combined with 4% viognier grapes, then destemmed and co-fermented. The resulting wine remained on skins for extended maceration before pressing. It was then run off to a mixture of new and seasoned French oak barrels for 12 months’ maturation, during which time it was regularly topped and racked. The wine received a traditional egg-white fining before being bottled in March 2011. Te Mata Estate Woodthorpe Syrah ‘10 has a bright crimson colour with aromas of red cherries, raspberries and the pepper and jasmine floral notes. The palate features the same red berry fruits completed by baking spice flavours and integrated soft tannins. This wine will continue to develop in bottle for 2-5 years from harvest. Te Mata Estate Woodthorpe Syrah ‘10 is a wonderful accompaniment to all red meats, savoury and lightly spiced dishes of Mediterranean cuisine, as well as soft ripened cheese. pH: 3.62 TA: 5.6g/l Residual Sugar: Dry

He was one of the first Burgundy propriétaires who set about revitalizing the area. Soil: the Kimmeridgian limestone contains millions of tiny marine fossils embedded in a kind of whitish mortar which may have been once the bottom of the ... Grape Variety : Chardonnay. Its colour is pale gold with greenish hues. Very fresh aromas reminiscent of citrus (lemon or grapefruit); small pleasant touches of fern or coriander are found as well. On the palate, dry and fruity, with mineral notes. Pleasant and long aftertaste". Vintage We are quite confident to say that 2008 is one of the greatest vintage of the past 25 years. All the wines from Chablis to the Grand Crus, depending on their level of appellation, show concentration, richness, freshness, minerality and intense aromas. You will be easily seduced by these wines which are very pleasant. It could be interesting to lay down these Chablis as their aromatic potential is important. Although very pleasant and seductive when young, we recommend drinking the Chablis within to 4 or 5 years, the Premier Crus from 7 to 8 and the Grand Crus to drink from 2011 and the next 12 years. The wine received a traditional egg-white fi ning before being bottled in December 2008. Te Mata Estate Woodthorpe Syrah ‘07 is a deep crimson colour with aromas of allspice, plum and jasmine. The palate shows spicy, cinnamon notes, rich flavours of dark chocolate, black cherry and blueberry, and a fi ne tannin grip to the finish. This wine will continue to develop in bottle for 4-6 years from harvest.     Opis The kernel for Pezat is a vineyard planted literally a pace outside of the Saint Emilion Appellation - towards the river from Château Teyssier near to Branne. Previously this large vineyard consisted of high trellised vines planted 3 metres apart - the norm in Entre-des-Mers where grapes are machine picked. Planting down the middle of the rows gave the same density as a vineyard in Saint Emilion. Additionally, on the original vines, a sucker-per-vine was allowed to grow. At which stage the original vine was cut off, almost halving the height of the vines down to what one would expect from a ... The rosé represents a ‘saignée’ of the pre-fermented free-flow juice of our Saint Emilion Grand Crus, and the white is a product of crisp, barrel-fermented Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. 2006 Vintage. This has a well defined nose with baked red cherries, a touch of briary and a hint of chalk dust. Simple on the palate, nicely balanced, crisp blackberry with a touch of pepper on the finish. This is a fine Bordeaux Superieur from Jonathan Maltus. Wine Spectator POINTS 86-89 - Pure, with a lightly firm damson plum and pomegranate frame to the core of blackberry and black currant. A mineral edge is starting to show on the finish. —J.M. Robvert Parker POINTS 86-88 - An excellent effort from Jonathan Maltus, this value-priced, lower-level Bordeaux is normally a blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc. The 2010 is exactly what one expects from an inexpensive but well-made Bordeaux. Soft tannins, deep berry fruit, a nice, medium-bodied, fleshy texture, and clean finish all make for a delicious wine to drink in its first 3-4 years of life. Drink: 2011/15.
